Madi's has a wonderful patio for a sunny winter day. The chilaquiles with soy chorizo were the best I've had in a long time. I also got the black sesame-hojicha latte which has a lovely flavor. The servers were all fantastic. We did make a reservation so that we wouldn't have to wait. It can get crazy busy on the weekends.

The apricot habanero jam on the G.O.A.T elevates the sandwich in a subtle but delicious way. My favorite dish however was the waffle churro sticks, it had the perfect texture and flavor. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Street parking surprisingly wasn't terrible on a Saturday at 12pm. The wait for 6 people was about an hour but we didn't mind. We expected a long wait and an hour for 6 at that time isn't as bad as many brunch spots in San Diego. I also appreciate that there are a lot of benches outside to wait.

Loved Madi! The food was absolutely amazing! Our server was great and suggested the G.O.A.T. Sandwich and it was SO tasty!! I would honestly have a hard time trying something new vs ordering it again next time I go. I also had a green juice which may have been the best green juice I've ever had. The server was so nice and had great recommendations for us. Food came out promptly! The vibe was all around great- restaurant was super cute inside!

Such a great spot for breakfast and brunch. It was busy when we arrived the wait time is quicker than stated, we were told 25-35mins but our table was ready in less than 15. I ordered the Mediterranean shredded pork dish and oh my gosh it was soooo good. I ordered the cinnamon toast sticks but I didn't get to eat much of it coz I couldn't stop munching on my entree. I def recommend. Staff are all friendly, busy and quick.

Very busy on the weekend, recommend reservations via open table. Super cute decor in and out. Their logo is on their coffee glasses and to go cups. Great for picture ops. Food was tasty! We ordered the chilequiles and chicken fried steak. They offer both breakfast and lunch items in their menu. The Ube and matcha latte is a must.

There are no shortage of cute brunch spots, but sometimes a shortage of brunch spots that are both cute and serve good food. Madi has it all- combining a chic atmosphere with tasty food with something on the menu that everyone can enjoy. Located between Normal Heights and Kensington, this corner spot has a neighborhood feel. Parking is all street that can get a little tricky on weekend, but tends to be plentiful on weekdays. On a Friday at noon, I was surprised by how crowded they were, but we were still able to immediately be seated. The menu is filled with breakfast and lunch options including savory and sweet. What stands out is they also have a make your own bowl item that allows a fully customized meal! They also have a full menu of drinks including an ube cold foam matcha latte or lots of boozy beverages by the glass or carafe. We split the breakfast burrito and corned beef hash. The breakfast burrito was a large portion filled with crispy bacon and potatoes, eggs and avocado. It came with black beans as a side but you could swap this for an up charge. The burrito was tasty and I appreciated how crisp the ingredients were inside. The corned beef hash was served with two eggs your style and the crisp potatoes. The corned beef hash was the canned kind, which is personally my favorite, but may not be first choice for all. I was impressed by how quickly our food came out, yet everything was very crisp and fresh. Madi automatically includes a 3% hospitality charge along with standard suggested tip amounts of 19%-22%. I guess this is the norm now but it's always a little bit of a shock to be spending an additional 25% of your bill on service charges. Overall, loved the brunch vibes and enjoyed the food! Seems like a great spot for a girls get together or catching up with friends.
